Dr Bike

Dr Bike is a school or community event where Bike Futures fixes bikes for FREE. Bike Futures has been fortune to benefit from funding from JU:MP. British Cycling and Cycling UK to run these events in West and North Yorkshire

Bikes can get neglected and into various states of disrepair, becoming unrideable. Dr Bike is all about getting local people back on their bikes.

People drop their bikes off for a 30 minutes service and repair. Punctures, brakes and gears sorted with new tubes cables and brake blocks as required.

This is a mobile outdoor service. We work with local partners, schools and community centres to ensure that this opportunity is well used by the local community.

It's always great to see the smiles of people getting their bikes back, ready and able to ride.

The Bike Bike Revival

Bike Futures is always looking for additional schools and communities to direct this funding. If your school or community can benefit from this FREE opportunity and you have the capacity to help promote an event please send us an email. The next Dr Bike could be in your community or local school.

Current funding is from Big Bike Revival organised by Cycling UK. Cycling UK is a national organisation with over 70.000 + members that promotes cycling for leisure, health and transport.
